Submission TitleLiving With Place - A Poem
NameJordan Elder
Everyone lives in a place. But not everyone lives with place. To live with place is to live with a deep sense of connection to your surroundings. Your home, your neighborhood, your town isn’t just the place you chose to live, it’s apart of you. You belong to it. You contribute. You know it. I desire to live with a deeper sense of place. It’s hard to live with place in the suburbs, but I want to try. I hope you will too.

When you have very little paint left and only 5 minutes before the Celtics game, you paint this!
Critics are already raving at how “unorthodox “ and “brave” this peice is. One critic stated, “It just tells the human story at such a deep and metaphorical level. A masterpiece!”
Submission TitleSong - Everlasting Love (Stage 2) (cowrite with Tyler Daniel)
NameChad K
Continuation of day 6 song, inspired by "The Attributes of God" chapter about Love and Loving-Kindness
Got together with Tyler today to help flesh out some ideas for this song from Day 6 - Made a good bit of progress! I recorded this while trying not to wake the kids up, not the strongest quality but wanted to get it done before the night was over!

“Do you hear what these children are saying?” They asked Him.
“Yes” replied Jesus, “have you never read, “‘From the lips of children and infants you, Lord, have called forth your praise’ ?”

I’ve been really excited about 7 in 7. Mostly because I feel so encouraged by seeing all of the perspectives and awesome gifts God has given to people in our church. I also love the challenge it gives us all to really think through how God has made us and even take some steps out of our comfort zones to try something new or different. Thanks for being a safe place, Redeemer💜
This year has been quite the year for our fam. I have seen God at work in such sweet ways, but I would be lying if I said I hadn’t grown weary during certain days/weeks. Walking through hard things with our kids and inviting in two precious and busy boys had put me in a place where a lot of things I enjoyed needed to be put on the back burner. Things like baking, clear thinking, cultivating and creating were set aside to really put my energy to what God had in front of me. And that is ok. But I’m also thankful for the grace to have the space for this right now!
This week I hope to make a couple desserts, write some letters and use snail mail, pick and arrange flowers, maybe try my hand at painting 😅, and spend some time getting to know new and old neighbors.
Today I wanted to start with writing letters to my kids. I love writing letters and it’s something that I don’t do as much as I have a desire to. I pray my family feels seen and loved and encouraged through a simple letter. Ultimately, I hope they feel God’s love and see His provision and grace for them.

I think this is a song I will definitely need to come back to and try to refine & work on the lyrical content/arrangement.

As Faye heads up our children’s program I thought this verse was appropriate.
“Do you hear what these children are saying?” They asked Him.
“Yes” replied Jesus, “have you never read, “‘From the lips of children and infants you, Lord, have called forth your praise’ ?”
Matthew 21:16
